Author’s trekking along the Talas Range – The Secret of Two Lakes
Exclusive route from Lake Saz-Kol to Lake Besh-Tash
This unique route is dedicated to two completely different, but connected by a common history, lakes located in neighboring valleys on both sides of the pass. Their origin goes back thousands of years – some appeared as a result of powerful mountain collapses, others were formed due to the melting of ancient glaciers.
In this exciting journey, we will get to know two magnificent lakes, discover their secrets and enjoy the unique atmosphere of high-mountain landscapes.

Program
Meeting at the airport. Accommodation at the hotel. Briefing, familiarization with the program and the guide. Free program. Dinner in an ethno teahouse.
On the way, you will see the famous natural monuments of the Tien Shan: the Suusamyr Valley, the Chychkan Gorge and the Itagar Gorge. Arrival at Lake Saz-Kol, 1970 m. Radial excursion to the waterfall and around the lake. Night in a tent on the shore.
The Itagar Valley is a real natural heritage of the Tien Shan, attracting tourists with its picturesque landscape. An easy walk along a gentle path leading up awaits you. The valley is covered with raspberry bushes, juniper and coniferous forests, and the bizarre cliffs hanging over the valley give the area a special beauty and grandeur. Camp at Chon-Mustor, 2518 m. Radial excursion to Lake Chon-Mustor + 560 m. Rest.
The morning begins with a gradual ascent to the Itagar Pass, 12 km along a path surrounded by mountains, springs, bushes and bizarre cliffs. The pass offers a magnificent view of the Besh-Tash Valley. Then descent into the valley, about 5 km to Lake Bash-Tash. Tent camp on the shore of the lake. Enjoying nature.
In the morning, our car will take you to the city of Talas, located in the valley of the same name. Accommodation at the hotel. The afternoon is devoted to an excursion to the Manas-Ordo memorial complex. Dinner at the restaurant.
A path through the alpine meadows of the Suusamyr valley and descent to the Chui valley. Accommodation at the hotel. Dinner at the ethno teahouse.
