Today’s journey follows the legendary Pamir Highway, one of the world’s most spectacular mountain roads.
Drive through dramatic alpine landscapes, deep gorges, and high mountain passes, with panoramic views of the Pamirs — often called the Roof of the World. This day is dedicated to nature, photography, and the sheer scale of Central Asia’s wilderness.
Return to Osh in the evening. Educational talk on the geography and geology of the Pamir and Tien Shan ranges, followed by dinner.
After breakfast, cross the Kyrgyz–Uzbek border and enter the fertile Fergana Valley, renowned for its crafts and hospitality.
Evening arrival in Fergana. Dinner hosted by a local family, offering insight into daily life and traditions.
Overnight in Fergana.
Travel to Rishtan, the heart of Uzbekistan’s ceramic tradition.
Continue to Kokand, once the capital of the Kokand Khanate.
Evening at leisure at a boutique hotel in Kokand.
A deeper exploration of Kokand reveals its unique colonial and Art Nouveau architecture from the Russian Turkestan period.
Walk through historic neighborhoods, former merchant mansions, banks, and educational institutions from the late 19th–early 20th centuries.

Cross the Uzbek–Tajik border and continue to Khujand, one of Central Asia’s oldest cities and its culinary capital.
